The Curse of Cain

3 BOOKS IN ONE MASSIVE VOLUME!

Includes...

The Curse of Cain: When a necromancer is admitted to Vilokan Asylum against her will, and she evokes the ghost of Cain's murdered brother, Abel, he'll have to do more than treat the patient... he'll have to confront the ghosts of his past, literally.

Razing Cain: After agreeing with the new Vampire Council to take on their newest batch of younglings, and help them tame their blood cravings, things quickly get out of hand at Vilokan Asylum. Dr. Cain will need more than a "blood suckers" support group to get a handle on the issue. He'll require the aid of Baron Samedi... of course, when the Baron is involved, his help almost always comes at a cost.

Cain and Angel: A fallen angel has a change of heart. She just can't stomach the big guy "downstairs" and his propensity for torture, fire, and all that devilish crap. But she's burned her bridges with the celestials, too. When she comes to Vilokan Asylum, she hopes Cain's experience with the guy "upstairs" can help her find her own path on the narrow road between the warring leagues of angels. But when the Archangel Michael is sent to arrest the "unfallen" angel, Cain must approach the Divine for the first time in several millennia to advocate for his patient.

The Mark of Cain

2 BOOKS IN ONE VOLUME!

Includes...

The Mark of Cain: When a vampire coven attempts to assassinate Cain they fall under the seven-fold curse. They become "wolves." Now, as he's been forced to do many time throughout the centuries, he has to help those who want him dead. After all, you can't have wolf-vamps running loose in New Orleans. But the coven-turned-wolfpack is the least of Cain's problems. The ancient vampire who sent the bloodsuckers to kill him to begin with is out for blood. Can Cain stop him? Cain is the pack's alpha. The ancient vampire is their sire. Who will they obey?

The Cowl of Cain: For more than a century Cain wore the cowl. An enchanted infernal object, given him by the Witch of Endor, that prevented him from shifting every full moon. But the cowl demanded blood. It warped his mind, returning him to his murderous origins. If he didn't kill, the cowl would do the opposite, it would reverse his curse, leaving him in werewolf form during the waxing and waning moon. Unwilling to kill again, Cain thought he destroyed the cowl. Until another werewolf appears in New Orleans, always transformed and wearing the cowl, leaving a trail of bodies in his path. When the full moon rises and their roles are reversed, Cain recognizes the cowl-wearing wolf. He's never been so frightened.

Cain and the Cauldron

Someone stole the Cauldron of Rebirth from Eden.

With it comes the power to resurrect anyone from the past.

We thought we defeated these villains for good.

Can we possibly stop them all now that they're back and working together?

I have a patient who may be able to help. If I ask, her, I'll have to cross a line I swore I never would.

What good is it for a man to gain the whole world if he forfeits his soul?

That principle makes sense. But I'm not trying to gain the world. I'm trying to save it.

The cost may still be my soul.

But I don't think I have any other choice.

Cain’s Cobras

My parents blamed a snake for all of their problems.

Until I killed my brother.

Then, they blamed me, too.

I never expected that when I admitted patients who wielded the aspect of Aida-Wedo and Damballa that so many snakes would follow.

I'm beginning to wonder if my parents were right. Is there more to these creatures than meets the eye?

I'm getting stronger. Abel is, too. We're gaining new abilities.

Why don't the snakes have this effect on anyone else?

They say that the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree.

I never thought I'd have to face my parents' same temptation.

And the rest of the world may have to pay the price. Again.

Crazy Cain

They think I've lost my mind...

Can I really blame them? After what happened?

It wasn't me! How can I possibly convince the Voodoo Queen that I'm innocent?

They've hired a new psychiatrist now that I've been committed myself...

What a joke!

The wolves are fighting for my freedom. There's an imposter out there. A shapeshifter, I presume, who is trying to take me down. He can't kill me. I guess this was the only alternative.

If we don't find him in time, if I'm not freed, people will die... a lot of people will die.

The Wrath of Cain

Mess with a werewolf, prepare to get bit. Mess with my patients, prepare to die.

The Witch of Endor went too far.

It was one thing when she warped my mind, but now she's threatening the health and lives of my patients.

Is it wrong to kill someone who is supposed to be dead, anyway?

I'm done debating the ethics of it all.

It's time for the witch to die.

What are readers saying about The Vilokan Asylum of the Magically and Mentally Deranged?

★★★★★ At the very least, and I hate to tell you this, Mr. Monroe, but I don’t think they can get any better than this. Unfortunately, that means it’s all downhill from here…. (Amazon Reviewer, Crazy Cain)

★★★★★ Ever wonder what happened to Cain after he killed Abel, let alone his relationship with Seth and his parents ? In this non canonical fictional extension of Bible, supernatural and horribly bad DAD jokes you find out. (Amazon Reviewer, The Curse of Cain)

★★★★★ As I frequently mention whenever I review a Theophilus Monroe book, I LOVE HIS BOOKS!!! As with all his books, I devoured it in a few hours, impossible to put down! I love how he takes a topic we're all familiar with and totally turns it on it's head! Adding a new twist on Cain and Abel is one of my favourite. We all know that particular story and how it ended, right? Wrong! Yes, Cain DOES kill Abel, but Theo breathes new life into this account, what we know still stands as truth, but with so much more interesting aspects. (Amazon Reviewer, Cain's Cobras)

★★★★★ Can't get enough of Cain! I was on an emotional roller-coaster with this book and reached for my tissue box by the end. Happy tears or sad tears?? I'm not saying. Buy with one click and find out. You won't regret it. (Amazon Reviewer, The Wrath of Cain)
